Re: Tuesday April. 5 - Friday April.8th.
Gosh, haven't been on here in awhile! Where is everyone? How's everyone doing?
During filming it's been hard to eat balanced. I've stayed paleo though and avoided all the cookies and chips around..
I had a few small gluten free/agave sweetened cookies and they gave me a burning stomach ache for 15 mins.
Over the past few days, I've eaten so many nuts and pepperoni as my snacks at work.. I've had sushi/sashimi... and removed the rice from the sushi..
Had lots of veggies and dip today. More sushi, no rice.
And a BIG tostada salad from the Raw Vegan restaurant Organic Lives, and a green alkalizer juice. Yum! It's paleo, but no meat.
Lots of coconut water and green tea too,

Re: Tuesday April. 5 - Friday April.8th.
Wednesday
UA: Fish oil + glutamine, need to get some more lemons
Breaky: Amaranth with coconut water + butter + maple syrup
Snack: Larabar (these are addictive and delicious)
Lunch: 3 hard boiled egg + yam + green cabbage
Snack: starving- had to grab a powerbar- not sure how those 300 calories are going to feel going down
Post wod: protein powder (35 grams)
Dinner: (freakin ran out of veggies, I've never eatin this many in my life) Porch chop + apple fried up (in place of veggie) + yam = delicious.
You are such a Dream Killer Sprotson - I kid, this is what my buddy wikipedia has to say about Amaranth:
Several species are raised for amaranth "grain" in Asia and the Americas. This should more correctly be termed "pseudograin". They are highly edible by gluten intolerant individuals because they are not a member of the grass family and contain no gluten.
Here's the bit on pseudocereals:
Pseudocereals are broadleaf plants (non-grasses) that are used in much the same way as cereals (true cereals are grasses). Their seed can be ground into flour and otherwise used as cereals. Examples of pseudocereals are amaranth, Love-lies-bleeding, red amaranth, Prince-of-Wales-feather; quinoa, and buckwheat.[1]
and finally, wikipedia also classifies my favorite boil-able thing Quinoa, as a pseudoceral. What I will say is that it has only been in the human diet for about four or five thousand years so, while it may not technically be a grain, it's not paleo - dream officially killed! ;P
